The Enlightened Curmudgeon

Someone who possesses wisdom and insight (the "enlightened" part) but still holds onto a certain level of grumpiness or skepticism (the "curmudgeon" aspect).Think of it as someone who has seen a lot, learned a lot, and while they understand how things work and perhaps even see the potential for good, they're not easily impressed by superficiality or naive optimism.
